1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Grandma Meraki mobile application (hereinafter, the "App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Access to Content and Free Availability

Our mission is to bring magical illustrated stories to every home. Therefore, all stories, illustrations, and audio narrations in the App are freely accessible, open, and free of charge for all users. We do not restrict access to content behind paywalls; reading and listening to the stories is completely open and free for the community.

3. Premium Subscription and Billing Conditions

For users who wish to enjoy an immersive experience free of interruptions, the App offers an optional paid subscription (Premium Subscription):

• Premium Benefit: The sole benefit of the premium subscription is the complete removal of advertisements within the App. The entire library of stories remains available to free users.
• Recurring Billing: The premium subscription is an auto-renewable monthly plan. The charge will be billed to your account on the respective store platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) upon confirmation of purchase.
• Automatic Renewal: The subscription automatically renews at the end of each monthly billing cycle unless automatic renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation and Management: Users can manage their subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by visiting their Account Settings in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Refunds: Subscription refund requests are handled directly by the respective distribution platform (Apple or Google) in accordance with their respective refund policies.

4. Intellectual Property

All content included in the App, such as texts, original stories, audio recordings, narrations, illustrations, logos, interfaces, animations, and software code, is the exclusive property of Grandma Meraki or its licensors and is protected by international intellectual property laws. Any reproduction, distribution, commercialization, or modification of any material is prohibited without the prior written consent of its authors.

5. Acceptable Use

Users agree to make lawful and appropriate use of the App. It is strictly forbidden to attempt to compromise the security of the software, decompile the App, or perform actions that could impair, overload, or disable the servers or networks associated with Grandma Meraki's services.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive to offer the highest quality stories and narratives and an uninterrupted service, we do not warrant that the software will be free from technical errors or temporary connection failures.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. The last updated date at the beginning of this document will indicate when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the App after the implementation of new terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the territory in which our services operate, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws.
